Surprisingly he has now lifted his head into active politics.

Allan Mujuni a.k.a Amooti Omubalanguzi is a comedian on the Sisimuka morning show on Beat FM.

He is also the Director of Amarula Family, a comedy group. Son of Late Moses Bakaturahi and Annet Kabatalemwa. The first born of six children.

He went to St Kizito Primary School in Mpigi and completed his O Level at Masaka Secondary School. He later went to Kisubi Technical where he completed studies in mechanical engineering in 1997.

Is this a pr stunt?

The New Amarula Director will be running for the Nansana Municipality Member of Parliament seat come 2021 General elections.

He has been showing interests of serving his fans in a political wing. Recalling from some of his past public speeches, Mujuni has it practically.

He joins fellow comedians Madrat and Maama Sam who have also shown interest in the some game of politics.

First of all Kato Lubwama current is the MP Rubaga division south. Won’t the parliament become a comedy store and who will be the speaker to control theses humble Ugandan

However, he is still scratching his head on which party to come with into the promised land.

Hope the public wont use divide and rule method at the end. And the question stands why entertainment world in politics.

Lastly EC is still stressing that elections will be scientific. The question is whether the new comers will cop with this.
