The police is investigating the man who was arrested with human head to parliament.

A man known as Joseph Nuwashaba, 22 was arrested on Monday at the parliament. He was intercepted by police at the gate of parliament with a human head wrapped as a gift for speaker Rebecca Kadaga.

According to CIC spokesperson Mr. Charles Twine Mansio! The detective team is still investigating the 22 year old suspect prior to his arrest on Monday. And are finding out whether he has been involved in a series of other murders before.

Twine says they want to investigate whether he has been involved in other murders. As a prerequisite , we shall first check his mental status.

He adds that they want to know if he has been participating in other ritual murder and know his accomplices.

Nuwashaba was leaving with the deceased’s family since the lockdown. And on Sunday he asked the kid to escort him somewhere and since then they have not heard from him.

However, after a search, a headless body that was later identified as Faith Kyamagero a daughter to Ssenyonga. The body was found dumped near the National Water and Sewerage Corporation treatment plant site in Masaka city.

But on Monday as Ssenyonga’s family prepared to bury the headless body of his daughter! they were astonished to see photos of a head that looked like their own at parliament.

Immediately the burial ceremony was halt as soon as they identified the face of their child. However the police did not side with them to confirm the head as of Ssenyonga’s daughter. It is not until a DNA test is carried out.

Surprisingly, after the test the head and the lifeless body confirm that both parts are for one person, CID spokesperson notes.

“We have done a DNA on both parts this morning, and it was established that both are of one person. The family also identified the head as that of their daughter, Faith Kyamagero,”Twine adds

The police spokesperson notes that detectives will now try to link the suspect to the crime scene in Masaka. Where the five- year- old girl was killed and body dumped.
