As the country is trying to curb the spread of the pandemic the bus carrying 25 people catches fire.
A bus registration number UG 0391H has caught fire as it was heading to Kampala from northern Uganda. The incident has happened this afternoon as it was from Kitgum to Kampala with at least 25 people on board.
It is reported that the bus belonging to Uganda parliament caught fire at Koro along the Gulu-Kampala highway. And allegations has it that the 25 people on board are patients of COVID-19.
However, the Aswa River Region police spokesperson, Patrick Jimmy Okema says a team of fire officers from Koro rushed to extinguish the fire but it had already caused extensive damage to the automobile by the time they arrived.
But Ministry of Health spokesperson Emmanuel Ainebyoona says there were no casualties! and a new vehicle was in place to transport the patients to their destination.
Of late there are reports that palisa MP died of COVID-19, This has created fear in the house. It is not surprising that the bus is belonging to the parliament of Uganda.

Even one of the president’s entourage had to quarantine after meeting the president coming back from Tanzania. It should be remembered that the president met with Magufuli when he was not putting on a mask. Even his body guards didn’t.
But the number of corona virus cases in the country are increasing day by day. Even the deaths are now over 50. And the total cases are now 5123 the country has 2333 recoveries and 2732 active cases. This is not good for the country that went on the lockdown with only one person. But now is transporting patients from regions of the country.
