The Ugandan golden boy Edirisa Musuza, Eddy Kenzo has stood his ground on the ongoing comments of most Ugandans that are not going to vote for him.
The angry Eddy Kenzo says, he does not mind whether Ugandans vote for him or not. Kenzo has been nominated in the AFRIMMA Awards for this year. These awards will take place in Dallas Texas USA.
He will be contesting with Tanzanian sensational Abdul Naseeb Juma alias Diamond Platinumz. The two are in total tight race for the award after Kenzo merging the best male artist in East Africa in 2018.
This reflects the misunderstandings between Kenzo and NUP president Bobi Wine. That saw the NUP supporters back firing at Kenzo on social media.
Some of the Ugandans are angry with Kenzo who put it on him that he betrayed them by siding with President Museveni. This group says, Kenzo doesn’t care whether his funs are suffering or not.
Some funs say Kenzo is greedy and selfish; That is why he can go in NRM and leave them in struggle.
I am a winner, I don’t mind whether you vote for me or not – Kenzo angrily says
However, the tourism ambassador of Uganda Eddy Kenzo says that; First of all I am a winner, only putting my name on that list shows that I am a winner.
Secondly, look at the awards that I have been winning, the BET, Nickelodeon ! Only that is enough to state a bold statement for me.
Thirdly, if you vote for Diamond Platinumz is also okey. Because he also comes from East Africa.
Me I am the tourism ambassador, so I want to be focusing on that and am okey. I also don’t support any side in politics, but I want to see a peaceful Uganda and people to be okey.
So it remains not known whether people will vote for him or not. Let us wait and see. But this should be a lesson to many Ugandan musicians who have joined politics. They are likely to face the wrath of the supporters after the elections.
Kenzo was nominated among the seven artists in the international AFRIMMA awards.
